Condolence: My deepest condolences go out to Theren's family. I had the privilege of knowing him throughout school while growing up in Courtice. He always donned a smile on his face and had a joke up his sleeve. I have fond memories of working on a project together, and I think we spent more time goofing off, laughing and eating pizza than we actually did working on the project. He will be greatly missed by many people.

Our encounters with Theren, albeit brief, as neighbours of Joe, Julie and Christina we found him to be the warmest, gentlest and most helpful person. We met Theren as were embarking on a move and he jumped in and helped us load a truck and carry heavy items from our home. We were moved by his kindness and generosity. He is clearly gone too soon.

Condolence: My family lived on the same street as Theren did back in our elementary/high school days. I send the condolences from the St. Aubin family to Therens family and loved ones.
I had the pleasure playing sports in high school and sometimes walking home from Courtice Secondary School with Theren and even playing road hockey on the neighbour hood street. He was always such a funny, caring and thoughtful person day to day, with sick goalie skills. Miss ya buddy ... I will always remember we had the same birthday.
