WASIK, MARY - Passed away at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto on January 9, 2017. Predeceased by her beloved husband of over 60 years Walter (2016). Survived by her sister Natalie Zadorozny and sister-in-law's husband Omelan Drohobycky. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by the Kulyasa and Drohobycky families and extended family and friends. Mary was an extremely caring and dedicated woman and her generosity of spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Mary dedicated her life to the Ukrainian community where she worked tirelessly to improve the lives of those around her. Visitation will take place at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Sunday, January 15th from 6-8 pm. Panachyda will be held on Sunday at 7:30pm. Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church on Monday, January 16th at 11 am. Internment to follow at St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church would be appreciated and may be made along with condolences by visiting armstrongfuneralhome.net
