McGill, Peter – Suddenly, after a brief illness, Peter passed away on Saturday March 4th, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with his wife Linda by his side. Loving and devoted husband of Linda (nee Lovell) for 25 years. Dear son of Joan McGill & the late Jack. Dear brother of Wendy McGill (Mike). Brother in law of Diana Kirk (Rob) and Arthur Lovell (Judy). Loving uncle of Ryan, Sarah (Jeff), Ron (Shawna), Stephanie (Jeremy), Christopher, Allison and Andrew. Peter was the proud owner of Murray Johnstons Men’s Wear for many years. He was a member and past president of Parkwood Rotary Club and an activist for downtown Oshawa business. Please join with the family in celebrating Peter’s life at a Memorial Visitation on Friday March 10th from 1pm to 4pm at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to Parkwood Rotary, R. S. McLaughlin Cancer Centre or Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
